November 2021 Nix Comics Update

Woof! Once again sneaking last month’s “update” in under the wire! It’s a good thing no one, as far as I can tell, actually reads these things! Just me, yelling into the fan to enjoy hearing my own distorted voice.

SLOW MONTH. MONEY-WISE: Ah, yes, yet another month of no Nix Comics Income. I just couldn’t focus on selling stuff with all of the other balls I was juggling… A side show that hasn’t really stopped. Basically still up in the air: I’m still behind on finishing up my Kickstarter stuff, I finished my BA in Public Affairs Leader, and Management (Specialization in nonprofit management), starting to look for a full time job, starting a part time gig at Lost Weekend Records and trying to stay cheery enough to be tolerable during pesky these holidaze. (The last one is actually hard work!)

If I did “accomplish” anything, it was listening to a lot of records! Again, an average of 8 a day. I’m starting to think more about turning this into some sort of zine… About the obsessions that started shaping the way I listened to records in 2021.
